35-YEAR OLD WOMAN STANDS UP 1ST TIME OUT!

An account from the woman herself in third person : Amy Jones – a 35-year old woman, Sagitarius on the cusp of Scorpio, medium build, moderately active with sudden bursts of energy, stood on a Doyle beginner’s longboard within one hour of paddling out for the very first time. “This has seriously been a high point of my existence,” said Jones, “I am considering having a fin implant.”

Jones did relate some initial apprehensions about being in the ocean with a long floatie thing attached to her ankle, but after just a few minutes, with Paddy on the beach spelling out the how-to’s, she was ready….The two paddled out, Paddy always close by, and the rest is history. “I will change my life around to make this thing called surfing a part of it,” said Jones.

The lessons took place just north of Ventura – just after work…and the next day…impromptu - just before work.
